Jojo Part 9: Jojolion is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki.
It began serialization in 2011, and has been published in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since then. It is the eighth part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series created by Araki, and the sequel to Part 8: JoJolion. The story follows Josuke Higashikata, a young man from Morioh Town who is related to the Joestar bloodline, as he solves mysteries in Morioh with his fellow Stand users. The manga has gained much acclaim for its unique art style, storytelling, and its exploration of themes such as identity, family bonds, and societal issues. The story of Jojo Part 9 takes place 11 years after the events of Part 8. It focuses on an orphaned boy named Josuke Higashikata who discovers he is actually a member of the long-lost Higashikata family that left Morioh Town 11 years ago. He soon learns that his mysterious powers are related to the curse of "Joestar blood". He must join forces with his new family members to unravel the mystery surrounding this curse and protect Morioh Town from an evil organization known as "Rock Humans". Josuke soon finds himself battling against Rock Humans with a unique Stand called "Soft & Wet" that can manipulate water. As he comes into contact with various residents of Morioh Town, he discovers more about his past and unravels more mysteries involving the curse of "Joestar blood". Along his journey, Josuke must confront many dangerous foes such as Yoshikage Kira and Yotsuyu Yagiyama in order to protect those he cares about most. Jojo Part 9 features an art style inspired by classic manga from the 1970s and 1980s such as Gacha Gacha and Crows. Its distinct illustrative style has made it one of Araki's most popular works amongst fans of the series worldwide. Its use of vibrant colors mixed with dark shadows creates an atmosphere that is both mysterious and exciting at the same time. The art also provides plenty of detail when it comes to fight scenes, which makes them all the more exciting to read through. In addition to its impressive art style, Jojo Part 9 also stands out for its exploration into themes such as identity, family bonds, heritage, societal issues, friendship and loyalty amongst others. These themes are often explored through intense fighting sequences or dramatic plot points that help add more depth to its characters’ stories.
